Life After Lock-Up

Life After Lock-Up

The Channel 4 3 x 60-minute series aims to unpick what leads former inmates to reoffend once they are released from prison, a social problem that costs UK taxpayers £15bn a year. Watch promo here.

Series producer/director Lee Phillips, who previously helmed ITV’s Her Majesty’s Prison: Aylesbury and Life Inside Jail: Hell on Earth, described it as “the most ambitious project I have ever undertaken”.

C4 commissioning editor, news and current affairs Siobhan Sinnerton ordered the series with C4 head of news and current affairs Dorothy Byrne. Flicker co-founder Colleen Flynn is the executive producer.
